In brief

I am a solicitor of England and Wales, practising in my own name from St Albans and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA number 814180; see my entry on the SRA register). I handle the matters I accept personally.

Qualifications

I have been a qualified solicitor of England and Wales since October 2023. I studied law at Istanbul Doğuş University (LLB) and hold an LLM from the University of East London. I am currently studying for an Executive MBA at Cranfield University.

Experience

My background is in commercial and in-house legal work.

My legal education in Türkiye grounded me in a civil law system, and my postgraduate study in England deepened my understanding of English law and practice. My Executive MBA studies add a management and commercial perspective. Together, they allow me to consider a matter from its legal, commercial and practical sides: what the law provides, what each option is likely to cost, and what is realistically achievable.

My aim is advice that is measured, proportionate and set out clearly in writing.

I handle the matters I accept personally.

Clear scope and fees up front

Before I start, I confirm in writing what I will do, what I will not do and what it will cost. If the scope needs to change, I will tell you and agree it with you before doing further work. My charging approach is on the fees page.

Proportionate advice

Legal action costs time and money. I will give you my view on whether a step is worth taking and whether a simpler route is available. I do not guarantee results.

Plain English

I explain the law and your options in clear terms, and I put my advice in writing so that you can refer back to it.
