Solicitor serving Hertfordshire

Last reviewed 26 October 2026 by Sadik Bugra Isler

In brief

I am based in St Albans and advise businesses and individuals across Hertfordshire and North London. Appointment-only meetings take place in St Albans, and many matters can be handled entirely by video and email, so I can also act for clients elsewhere in England and Wales where the matter is suitable.

Areas served

I advise clients in and around:

  • St Albans
  • Harpenden
  • Hatfield
  • Welwyn Garden City
  • Hemel Hempstead
  • Watford
  • Radlett
  • North London

I do not have offices in these towns. In-person meetings are held only at 2 Victoria Square, St Albans, AL1 3TF, by appointment. Otherwise we can meet by video.

Remote work across England and Wales

Most of the work on a debt recovery, contract, shareholder, settlement agreement or tenancy matter is reviewing documents, giving written advice and corresponding with the other side. That can be done remotely. If you are elsewhere in England or Wales, I will consider whether your matter is suitable to handle remotely when you get in touch.

Document certification is the exception: I need to see the original documents in person in St Albans.

The same law across Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire does not have its own legal rules. The law that applies to your matter is the law of England and Wales, or in some housing matters the law of England specifically. What differs is practical: where any hearing takes place and how convenient it is to meet.

Local courts

If a matter goes to court, many money claims are started online, and a defended claim that needs a hearing is usually sent to a County Court hearing centre. Watford County Court and Family Court, at 10 King Street, Watford, is listed on the GOV.UK court finder as dealing with money claims and housing matters. Which court hears a particular case depends on the type of claim and the court rules, so I will confirm the position for your matter.

How to get in touch

Email info@sadikbugra.com with a short summary of your matter and the names of any other parties, so that I can carry out a conflict check. I aim to reply within one to three working days, Monday to Friday.

After a preliminary conflict check, I can offer a free initial discussion of up to 15 minutes, subject to availability, by video or in person in St Albans. It does not include detailed advice or document review.

Sending an enquiry does not mean I am acting for you, and I cannot monitor any deadline until I have accepted your matter in writing. See the St Albans page for meeting arrangements.
