Solicitor in St Albans

Last reviewed 26 October 2026 by Sadik Bugra Isler

In brief

I am a freelance solicitor based in St Albans. I meet clients by appointment at 2 Victoria Square, St Albans, AL1 3TF, or by video, and I advise businesses and individuals on debt recovery, commercial and shareholder disputes, employment exits and settlement agreements, and landlord and tenant disputes.

Meeting in St Albans

Meetings at 2 Victoria Square are by appointment only. There is no drop-in service, so please contact me first rather than calling in.

Parking is available and the premises are accessible. If you have particular access needs, or would like to know more about the arrangements before you visit, please email info@sadikbugra.com and we can discuss what would work for you.

If meeting in person is not convenient, most matters can be handled by video and email.

Local businesses and clients

The needs I can help with in and around St Albans are typically practical ones:

  • Owner-managed businesses with unpaid invoices, supplier or customer disputes, or disagreements between shareholders and directors.
  • Professional services and trades that need their terms of business reviewed, or need to recover fees.
  • Employees who have been offered a settlement agreement and need independent advice, and employers managing an exit.
  • Landlords and tenants dealing with arrears, possession, deposits or repairs, including after the changes to residential tenancies in England on 1 May 2026.

The law that applies is the law of England and Wales. Being local does not change the legal rules, but it does mean you can meet the solicitor who is handling your matter face to face if you prefer.

Services

How to arrange a meeting

  1. Send a short summary of your matter by email to info@sadikbugra.com. Include the names of any other parties so that I can carry out a conflict check. Please do not send documents yet.
  2. I aim to reply within one to three working days, Monday to Friday.
  3. After a preliminary conflict check, I can offer a free initial discussion of up to 15 minutes, subject to availability, by video or in person. It is for understanding your matter and whether I can help. It does not include detailed advice or document review.
  4. If you would like me to act, I will confirm the scope and fees in writing before any work starts.

Sending an enquiry does not create a solicitor–client relationship, and I cannot protect or monitor any deadline until I have accepted your matter in writing.

You can read more about me, see how I charge on the fees page, or find out about the wider Hertfordshire area I serve.
