Accessibility

Last reviewed 27 October 2026 by Sadik Bugra Isler

I want everyone to be able to use this website and my services. This statement covers the website at sadikbugra.com and explains how to ask for information in another format or discuss any access needs for appointments.

The standard I aim for

I aim for the website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA.

What I have done

The website has been designed and built so that you should be able to:

  • navigate the whole site using a keyboard alone
  • use it with a screen reader, with headings, labels and links that describe their purpose
  • zoom in up to 400% without content being cut off or needing to scroll sideways
  • read text with sufficient contrast against its background
  • use the site without animation if you have set your device to reduce motion
  • use the site without accepting cookies, because the public website does not set any.

Pages are written in plain English where possible, and legal terms are explained.

Known limitations

Automated testing found no failures against WCAG 2.2 AA on the pages tested, and the issues found during testing were fixed before publication. The website has not yet been tested with screen reader software, so some problems for screen reader users may remain. If you find one, please tell me (see below) and I will fix it.

Some links on this website take you to other organisations' websites, such as those of regulators and courts. I am not responsible for the accessibility of those websites.

Alternative formats

If you need information from this website in a different format, such as large print, a plain text document or a format that works better with your assistive technology, please email info@sadikbugra.com. Tell me what you need and the format that suits you, and I will do what I can to provide it.

The same applies to letters, documents and advice I send you during a matter: please let me know how you would like to receive them.

Contacting me and appointments

I do not offer a public telephone line. If email is difficult for you, please tell me (or ask someone to email on your behalf) and we can agree another way to communicate.

Meetings take place by video or in person at 2 Victoria Square, St Albans, AL1 3TF, by appointment only. The premises are accessible and parking is available. Because everyone's needs are different, please email info@sadikbugra.com before your appointment to discuss anything that would help, for example access to the building, parking, extra time, breaks, or having someone with you. I will do my best to make reasonable adjustments.

Reporting a problem

If you find a part of this website that you cannot use, or think I am not meeting the standard described here, please email info@sadikbugra.com with the web address of the page and a short description of the problem. I aim to reply within one to three working days.

Testing

This website was tested on 27 October 2026 during its development. Testing combined automated checks against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 level A and AA rules (using the axe-core testing engine) on the main page types; manual keyboard navigation, including a visible focus indicator on every interactive element; reflow at a screen width of 320 pixels, which is equivalent to 400% zoom; and measurement of colour contrast. Two issues were found and fixed: a link whose accessible name did not match its visible text, and pages that could scroll sideways on very narrow screens. Testing with screen reader software is planned.

This statement was prepared on 27 October 2026 and will be reviewed whenever the website changes significantly, and at least once a year.
